Apis Mellifera, the common honey bee. The plant and the bee have one of the most synergistic relationships in nature. These docile bees are often confused with their more aggressive cousins and are never fully appreciated for their roll in our gardens.
With great pleasure the HAH presents our workshop leader, Ray Lackey, proprietor of Sweet Pines Apiary, certified master Beekeeper and former president of the Long Island Beekeepers Club.
